But what I'm looking for, and maybe it doesn't exist, is a program that would streamline the process for me. Yes, I can do this in Lightroom, or PSE5, or just about any old graphics program (heck, I think I could even do it in Windows Paint.not that I'd want to). So, once I select the pics that I'm going to use, I've got to go through them all, and manually crop them to a 800x480 ratio. So what I'm planning on doing is going through my collection of photos and picking out a couple hundred to put onto these frames (pics of the grandkids, etc), but I'd naturally like the pics to fill the whole frame.
The frames have a resolution of 800x480.a nice non-standard "widescreen" resolution. Here's what this is for: I bought digital photo frames as Christmas gifts for the parents, in-laws, etc. What I'm looking for is software that would have a streamlined process for manually cropping hundreds of photos quickly.
